Purpose:
Control Panel Assembly controls the elevation and Traverse movement of the Gun in the battle tank and to lock the target.
Criticalities involved are:
Assembly must precisely control the movement of the gun, in both elevation and traverse direction, through on-board electronics of the tank, to ensure the gun is pointing precisely at the target which is some miles away. The target is locked by the gunner from the tank.
Tolerances & Accuracies involved are:
+/- 5 Microns
